Biography of Vinit Ghelani:
Foundation in Computer Science
Vinit Ghelani’s journey in design began with a Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science from Gujarat Technological University (GTU), which
he completed between June 2015 and August 2017. This technical background
provided him with a strong foundation in understanding the intersection of
technology and design, setting the stage for his future ventures in the design
world.
Launching ZupitHQ
In June 2023, Vinit founded ZupitHQ, a platform dedicated to
delivering high-quality design services to startups in sectors like SaaS,
fintech, health-tech, AI, and Web3. ZupitHQ operates on a subscription model,
offering clients access to a dedicated team of senior designers, daily design
deliverables, biweekly strategy calls, and comprehensive project management.
The flexible, no long-term commitment model is designed to be a cost-effective
alternative to hiring full-time design staff.
Diverse Design Experience
Before establishing ZupitHQ, Vinit had a diverse range of
experiences in the design field. His role at Brandot, where he was a Co-Founder
from May 2017 to June 2023, involved leading a design studio that specialized
in digital and print design, brand development, and visual strategy. This
position allowed him to refine his skills and build a reputation for delivering
high-quality design solutions.
Participation in Buildspace
In August 2023, Vinit participated in a six-week program
funded by Y Combinator and a16z at Buildspace in San Francisco. This program
brought together tech experts from around the world to develop revolutionary
products. The experience culminated in a demo weekend in Dubai, showcasing the
innovative projects developed during the program and expanding Vinit’s network
and expertise in cutting-edge design and technology.
Designing for FundMiner
In March 2024, Vinit took on a part-time role as a Product
Designer for FundMiner, a fintech SaaS company that recently secured a $2.5M
seed round. This role involves creating user-centered designs that enhance the
user experience and support the company’s growth and functionality in the
competitive fintech market.

Contribution to Anyday Design
From October 2023 to August 2024, Vinit worked as a Product
Designer for Anyday Design, a remote position based in Dubai. This role focused
on developing product designs that met user needs and business goals, further
expanding his experience in creating effective design solutions for diverse
clients.
Co-Founding Udan Khatola
Vinit also co-founded Udan Khatola Cafe/Restro/Co-Working in
November 2017, a venture that combined a cafe, restaurant, and co-working space
in Surat, Gujarat. Although this role lasted less than a year, it demonstrated
his ability to blend design and business in a real-world setting, contributing
to the development of a unique and functional space.
Visual Design Work in Cambodia
In July 2018, Vinit took on a contract role as a Visual
Designer for Funky Flashpacker in Cambodia. This opportunity allowed him to
apply his design skills in an international context, enriching his experience
and understanding of global design trends and practices.
Engagement with Professional Networks
Vinit was an active member of TiE and BNI Global between
2020 and 2022. His involvement with these organizations helped him build
valuable connections and stay engaged with the broader business and
