The deal concluded after a complex legal battle with Affle Global, highlighting the strategic importance of the acquisition.

Transition and New Beginnings

Following the acquisition, Deshmukh decided to step down from his role at Indus Appstore. His departure marked the end of a successful chapter and the beginning of a new venture. Natoe.ai aims to revolutionize the healthcare sector by leveraging artificial intelligence to address delays in diagnostic report processing. This venture reflects Deshmukh’s commitment to integrating social impact with technological innovation.

The Vision Behind Natoe.ai

Natoe.ai’s mission is to tackle pressing issues in radiology, such as long waiting times for diagnostic reports. By using AI technology to analyze X-rays and generate reports swiftly, the platform aims to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of radiology services. Deshmukh’s vision is to significantly reduce the turnaround time for critical diagnostic tests, which can be life-saving in emergencies.

Building a Strong Team

Deshmukh has assembled a skilled team for Natoe.ai, including IIT Bombay alumna Pragya Goyal as CTO and Herukh Shahani, a former colleague from Indus OS, as CBO. This team is crucial for developing and scaling the AI technology that will drive Natoe.ai’s success. Their combined expertise is expected to propel the startup forward in a competitive market.

Future Plans and Expansion

Natoe.ai plans to start a pilot project in August 2024, with a commercial launch set for December of the same year. The initial focus will be on X-ray diagnostics, with future expansions planned for other types of radiology tests like CT scans and MRIs. This phased approach aims to ensure the technology’s robustness and effectiveness before broader implementation.

Industry Potential

The radiology industry, valued at approximately USD 70 billion and projected to reach USD 300 billion by 2030, presents significant growth opportunities for Natoe.ai.
