Previous Roles
Before her time at IFC, Nupur gained experience in financial
management and advisory roles. She was the Regional Financial Controller at
Wolters Kluwer from April 2006 to April 2007 and worked as Associate Director
of Finance at Discovery Communications from May 2002 to April 2006.
Additionally, she began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as a Deputy
Manager in Assurance and Business Advisory Services, where she worked from June
1997 to May 2002.
Experience with IFC
Nupur’s notable career includes a significant tenure at the
International Finance Corporation (IFC). She served as Regional Lead for South
Asia from October 2014 to May 2019, overseeing investment operations across the
region. Prior to this, she worked as an Investment Officer for Private Equity
and Investment Funds from August 2011 to September 2014, and as a Regional Risk
Officer from May 2007 to May 2010, contributing to risk management and
investment strategies.
