Educational Beginnings
Naveen’s academic journey laid a strong foundation for his
future success. He began his higher education at Savitribai Phule Pune
University, where he pursued a degree in Electronics from 1996 to 1999. His
pursuit of technical expertise continued with a postgraduate degree in Computer
Software from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) between

Early Career Steps
Naveen’s professional career began at Polaris Software Lab
in Chennai, where he worked as a Senior Systems Engineer from February 2000 to
March 2002. This role marked his entry into the software industry, where he
honed his technical skills and developed a keen understanding of system
engineering. Following this, he joined Kanbay Software India Private Limited in
Pune as an Associate Consultant, a position he held from February 2002 to
October 2003.
Advancing Through IBM
His career took a significant leap when he joined IBM
Singapore Ltd. as an IT Lead in October 2003. This role, which lasted until
October 2005, provided him with invaluable experience in managing and
implementing IT solutions on a global scale. The exposure to IBM's advanced
technologies and global business practices further prepared Naveen for future
leadership roles.
From VisionPLUS to Leadership
In October 2005, Naveen transitioned to a new challenge as
the Technology Lead at First Data Corporation in Singapore. His role focused on
VisionPLUS technology, where he spent over two years. His successful tenure led
to a promotion to Director of Product Development at First Data Corporation in
Mumbai from January 2008 to July 2014. Here, he played a pivotal role in
developing and managing innovative financial products, shaping his expertise in
product development.
Building Citrus Payment Solutions
Naveen’s career continued to flourish as he took on the role
of Head of Technology at Citrus Payment Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Pune, starting
in July 2014. Over the next three years, he built and refined Citrus’s
microservices platform, enhancing its scalability, stability, and security. His
leadership was instrumental in creating high-performing teams and improving the
overall productivity of the technology department.

Before founding EnKash, Naveen served as the Chief
Technology Officer at PayUhub from August 2017 to January 2018. In this role,
he was crucial in driving PayU’s global payment gateway initiatives. His
experience at PayU further solidified his reputation as a technology leader
capable of steering complex financial technologies on a global scale.
Founding EnKash
In January 2018, Naveen’s vision came to life with the
founding of EnKash. The company aimed to address the challenges faced by

spend management, establishing itself as a leader in the fintech sector.

growth and allowed it to enhance its services further. By 2024, EnKash had
expanded its client base to over 100,000 businesses and raised a total of $23
million, including a recent $20 million Series B funding round.
