singer, Teacher, and CA. I'm talking about no other CA Rachna Phadke Ranade. On
June 26, 1986, Rachna was born in Pune. She stands 5.3 feet tall. Rachna had
always been an intelligent, perceptive, and well-behaved girl. She studied at
Abhinava Vidyalaya English Medium School for her education. She loved how her
instructor taught at school, so when she was younger, she made the decision to
become a teacher. She has a history of teaching—her grandmother and both of her
grandfathers were teachers—so this is nothing new to her, teaching field is in
her blood.
Financial Education: Lessons from Childhood
Her mother used to give
her and her brother, Rajesh, pocket money when they were little. In addition,
she gets money from her family on her birthday and after achieving excellent
marks on examinations. However, her mother advised her to keep a journal of
every penny she spent starting in the fourth grade so that at the end of the
month, we would know exactly where the money had been spent. Rachna, or her
brother, gets an additional 10 rupees as a prize for those who save more money
from her mother. She started to establish this journaling habit in the fourth
grade, and it helped her in later life. Then, by the time she opened an account
in the bank, she started to keep her savings in the form of FDs. When she was
in the tenth grade, she had about ten thousand rupees with her. Her mother
said, "Rachna, should we switch up the way we invest money?" Is it
okay if we put that money in gold, asked her mother to Rachna. A ten-gram piece
of gold cost around 8,000 rupees at the time. This was the time of 2000 - 2002.
And then they used it to purchase gold.

College Years and Career Choices: Love
and Profession
She took admission to
the commerce stream for the eleventh grade at Brihan Maharashtra College of
Commerce after passing the tenth board exam with very good marks. She
eventually developed an interest in singing and made the decision to pursue a
career as a vocalist. Also, by the time she falls in love with her friend Akshay
Ranade, who is currently her husband.
Her boyfriend had already
decided on his desire to become a chartered accountant in their first year of
college. She had no clue what a chartered accountant was, so she picked the CA
profession in order to meet him, since if she had chosen another stream, they
may not have been able to meet. Then, over time, she began to develop an
interest in the CA sector as well. She gained knowledge in finance, economics,
accounting, etc. Her curiosity peaked at this point, and she began to truly
love her studies. After clearing CA Intermediate, she began receiving a 1,000 rupee
stipend. Once more, she began to consider where she should put this money.
However, she was unaware of this and inquired of her brother, who had
previously become CA.
First Steps in Investing:
A Learning Curve
Next,
her brother suggested stock market investments. He had already invested in the
stock market, but Rachna didn't know how to invest at all. Additionally, she
doesn't know anything about the stock market, despite her brother and
boyfriend's continuous chatter about it with her. She turned into a sandwich so
many times because she didn't know anything about it and was becoming irritated
by the conversations about the stock market. She had two alternatives at this
point: either make new friends or learn about the stock market. She chose the
second choice and began studying the stock market. She invested all of her
money by taking tips from someone, she didn't undertake any independent fundamental
analysis or research on it, but she received a good return in 2006. This process
continued for the next two years.
Initial Success and Setbacks: Trial by Fire
However, in 2008, the stock market crashed, wiping out more than
80% of her portfolio because she had invested entirely on tips without any
analysis or research; as a result, these fundamentally weak stocks vanished in
the crash, leaving her with no other choice than to book a loss. At that time,
no one asked her why she would incur losses, not even her boyfriend or family;
instead, they asked, "Do you have that where you made a mistake?"; From
this, she truly understood where she had made a mistake, learned from it, and
resumed her new journey. She then began going to the office of stock trading,
where she opened an account. She keeps an eye on everything in the stock market
office, including what people do, how they analyze things, what precautions
they take, and everything else. She also bombards them with queries concerning
the stock market. Additionally, these individuals respond to her queries since
they speculate as to how long she will be able to sustain this energy, 7-8 days
at most. But Rachna was different than other girls. She could readily change
her mind after making a decision. After learning all the fundamentals of the
stock market in a matter of months, she resumed investing by doing her own
independent fundamental analysis.
In 2009, she cleared the CA on her first attempt, and everyone
assumed she would work for a reputable corporation. Her friends join several
large firms as well, but she has other ideas. She wants to work as a teacher. Therefore
she told her family of her choice. Because everyone had faith in Rachna,
everything was well. At that moment, her grandfather shared some insightful advice
with Rachna. I wouldn't complain if you chose to become a cobbler, but you
should go to the point in this industry where people in Pune will pay you to
make their shoes. Whatever you decide to accomplish, put a lot of effort and
devotion into it.
Educational and
Professional Growth: The Teaching Path
Subsequently, she began working at Expert Professional Academy as a professor in Pune, receiving a salary of rs 22,000 while her CA friends made much more than her. Despite this, she remained committed to her passion for teaching. She used to teach their auditing subject, CA IPCC, to students. After three years of this procedure, she realized she wanted to do more with her teaching and began freelancing in 2012. She started to teach stock market concepts and many finance related things at that time, but her father encouraged her to settle down in life before doing anything additional. By the time she marries Akshay Ranade, who has been her boyfriend throughout the entire process; she thereafter gave birth to Megh Ranade, a handsome kid.
YouTube Journey Begins: Seeds of a Channel
She created a YouTube channel under the name CA Rachna Ranade in 2015. She posted a few sporadic videos to her channel, but she didn't receive much support from viewers. After a few more years, she began taking offline stock market courses in 2019. As a result of her experiences over 10 years in this field she created a comprehensive course on the stock market that covers 65–70 concepts. She taught every concept to the initial batch of students. A student from that batch proposed uploading the recorded video to YouTube. She recorded it in the classroom and uploaded the over 1.5-hour-long, completely uncut video. And within 3 months, she gets an enormous response from viewers, getting 25k views, and currently this video has more than 2 crore views.
Then she understood the
power of YouTube and uploaded multiple videos on the stock market, where to invest,
mutual funds, and financial literacy in very easy language. With that, everyone
was looking for new methods to generate money with the arrival of COVID, and
all of the finance-related videos were already accessible on Rachna Ranade's
YouTube channel. Her YouTube channel has gained tremendous traction throughout
this COVID-19 period, and she quickly began to expand her channel. At present,
her YouTube channel boasts over 45 lakhs subscribers. Currently, she has more
than Rs.1 crore monthly income, and according to reports, she owns a Honda
